Over the past several years, Charter Steel has evolved on their safety journey from the purview of lagging indicators to an exposure-based safety program. This transition has been taking place over the last several years with the intentional layering of implementation to support the desired shift in the overall safety culture and risk threshold of the organization.
We will share with you highlights of the journey to exposure-based safety – the application, adoption, successes, and challenges. We would also like to share how this program adapted to a global pandemic in COVID and the adjustments we have made to ensure sustainability.
